Helping families by building homes is the mission of Habitat for Humanity (HFH). Since 1976 HFH has built over 500,000 homes. Volunteer labor and no interest loans significantly reduce the monthly cost of home ownership.
Our local affiliate, Palouse Habitat for Humanity, identifies families in need, raises money, and then builds the house with donations and volunteers. Palouse Habitat for Humanity has built over twelve homes in Latah and Garfield counties. You can learn more about our local affiliate here.
Throughout the year Simpson UMC volunteers with Habitat. Contact the church to hear about opportunities.
