Imagine No Malaria

More than 500 million people are infected with malaria and more than one million die from malaria each year.  Malaria is a preventable and treatable disease carried by mosquitoes.  In Africa, it is a leading killer of children.  But we can do something about it.

Since 2008, The United Methodist Church has donated over $68 million to eliminate malaria from the world.  Through the work of Simpson UMC and other churches, the death rate has been cut in half.

Ten dollars buys a net that will protect a sleeping child from infection.  Long lasting insecticide treated bed nets can keep a family safe for as long as four years.  You can learn more here.
